When does the diary open?
Appointments are released one month at a time. The diary opens on the 1st of every month for the following month, unless otherwise stated.
For example:
1st June → July appointments
1st July → August appointments
Releasing appointments monthly ensures every client has the same opportunity to book, with no priority booking or favourites.
I'm not sure which service to book?
No problem. If you're unsure which treatment is right for you, please get in touch before booking.
A quick message, along with a photo of your current nails where appropriate, will usually allow me to recommend the most suitable service and ensure enough time is allocated for your appointment.
How do I book, reschedule or cancel my appointment?
Appointments are booked exclusively through the website or the Spaces by Wix app.
Your online booking system is much more than a diary. It's your personal client hub, where you'll complete consultation forms, receive appointment reminders, manage your bookings, access confirmation emails and view your appointment history, all from your own device.
Using one booking system for everyone keeps the process fair, organised and consistent, ensuring every client has the same opportunity to book when the diary opens each month. All bookings should be made by the individual attending and not on behalf of another.
Where are you located?
Chreeative Nails is a private home studio based in Kilwinning, Ayrshire.
To protect the privacy of my home, the full address is provided in your booking confirmation email. Driveway parking is available where possible, with additional roadside parking nearby. Please take care not to block any neighbouring driveways.
How will I know when you're ready for me?
If you're arriving by car, please remain in your vehicle until you receive a 'Ready' notification through the Spaces by Wix app or a text message. I'll then meet you at the garden gate.
If you're arriving on foot, please wait in the driveway and I'll come and welcome you in. Please aim to be no more than 5 mins early as we don't have a waiting area within the salon.
Do you provide bathroom facilities?
No.
As Chreeative Nails is a private home studio, there is strictly no access to the house at any time, including the use of bathroom facilities.
Please ensure you've used these facilities before arriving for your appointment, as I am unable to make exceptions. Thank you for respecting my family's privacy.
What happens if I'm running late?
If you're running late, please let me know as soon as possible before your appointment by text message or through my social media pages. I may not be able to answer phone calls if I'm with another client.
A 10 minute grace period is allowed where possible. However, your appointment may need to be adjusted to fit the remaining time available. The full booked treatment will still be chargeable, even if your appointment needs to be shortened.
Can I bring someone with me?
Appointments are strictly one to one. Please attend your appointment alone.
Children, family members, friends and pets are not permitted in the salon.
This allows me to give every client my full attention while maintaining the calm, one to one environment Chreeative Nails is known for without becoming a host to others.
Do you offer appointments for children?
No. All services at Chreeative Nails are available to clients aged 18 and over. All bookings should be made directly by the individual attending.
What if I'm feeling unwell?
If you're feeling unwell or think you may have something contagious, please get in touch before your appointment so we can discuss the best option.
Please also refer to the Salon Policies, which are agreed to at the time of booking. We ask that if you are unwell you do not ask us if we still wish to see you. Only YOU can determine your own health and wellbeing.

Can I eat or drink during my appointment?
You're very welcome to bring a drink along to your appointment.
I kindly ask that food isn't eaten during nail services, as your hands need to remain clean, dry and still throughout your treatment to achieve the best possible results.
I've booked nail art. Should I bring inspiration?
Absolutely.
Screenshots, Pinterest boards or saved Instagram posts all help. Arriving with a few ideas means we can spend more time creating and less time deciding.
Please ensure you've booked the appropriate nail art level when making your appointment. If you're unsure which level to book, just get in touch and I'll be happy to help.
I'm booked for a pedicure. Is there anything I should know?
Please avoid sunbeds and shaving or waxing your legs for at least 24 hours before your appointment.
I also recommend wearing loose fitting clothing to make your treatment as comfortable as possible.
Should you be experiencing any blisters or open wounds please let us know in advance. We made need to adjust our servicing or fully reschedule.
